As a duo, Richard and Alan produce a full, rich and highly rhythmic sound, far larger than might be expected from just two musicians, easily sufficient to fill any size venue and guaranteed to get toes tapping. Their repertoire is wide, including English, Scottish, Irish and American.

Should you prefer a larger band, a number of additional talented musicians are also on hand, including fiddle, flute, guitar and drums.
This means that they are able to provide you with just the right combination for your particular preference, pocket and event.

But their versatility does not end there. Should you require background music, such as during the meal at a wedding reception, the pair can offer a wide selection of light popular/jazz music on piano and bass, while you eat, chat and relax. Again, additional musicians can also be provided.

Whirling Skirmish normally perform in the London and South/South-East England areas, but with the right incentive have been known to travel much further afield.
